This couple is extra special to me because Michael is my nephew and Danielle is now my niece! When Michael proposed to Danielle, she did NOT say yes…instead, she said “Duh!”
All the week before, the weathermen had been calling for rain on their wedding day, but thankfully the rain held off until nightfall! We had a beautiful, overcast day with very few sprinkles!
Michael and Joey have been best friends since they were little boys! Both little boys grew into really, special young men. Michael is a nurse, specializing in treating children with cancer. Joey is now a Pastor and performed the wedding ceremony for his best friend. I came outside to see them praying together before they dressed for the ceremony. I just had to capture this special moment….I didn’t think God would mind!
Danielle has recently finished nursing school. She and Michael actually met while Danielle was shadowing Michael at work one day! Little did they know then, that they would become each other’s shadow forever!
I loved watching Danielle’s Mom and Sister help her get ready on her wedding day.
Is she the RUNAWAY BRIDE ? ! ? !
Danielle’s lace belt, and the lace scallop on her veil was made from her mother’s original wedding dress!
As soon as I took this picture, I knew out of all the pictures I had taken, this one would probably be the one that they would have hanging over their fireplace one day! This picture totally sums up their love and friendship! I pray that they will always have this much fun together!
Michael and Danielle,
Thank you so much for asking me to share and capture this day with you! I am so proud of you both and wish you lots of happiness and love, FOREVER AND ALWAYS!
XOXO,
Cricket
