Jake and Victoria have been dreaming of their wedding day for awhile. We got together this past fall to take their engagement pictures and prepare for their wedding date June 6, 2020. They had already booked and sent out invitations for a venue in Kentucky, but the restrictions due to the Covid crisis were still not gonna allow them to have all of their family and friends at their wedding. Therefore, through tears and worry of whether they were gonna be able to have the wedding of their dreams, they decided to look for a venue that was in a place that the Covid restrictions were not as strict. They found that place to be at The Barn at Murphy Farm in Pleasant View, TN. Their wedding day was magical, dreamy, and beautiful….everything they were hoping for! God gave us the most beautiful, golden light for their portraits!
While everyone is getting ready is the perfect time for me to capture all the details and sentiments.
Getting ready with your best girls makes the morning so much fun!
Victoria’s Mom, Heather, helped Victoria get her dress on and shared a special gift with her.
Victoria then shared First Looks with her bridesmaids and Dad. I truly think I’m the luckiest person in the room to be able to share such special moments with the family!
Jake surprised Victoria by writing her a special note on the bottom of her shoe!
Jake also spent some special moments with his Mom and Dad while getting ready.
Doesn’t Victoria look like a PRINCESS?!
Jake and Victoria opted not to do a First Look with one another. Instead, they decided, (with the agreement of No Peeking), to pray with one another before the ceremony.

Dancing…
Jake and Victoria surprised her parents by giving them the opportunity to have their First Dance after 26 years of marriage! And, before I had the chance to dry my eyes from all these special moments, I find Jake and Victoria dancing with their Grandmothers! Jake’s Grandmothers tears of happiness really got me this time!
Jake and Victoria, thank you so much for asking me to share and capture your wedding day with you! Your family is super special to me and it was such an honor to celebrate with you! I look forward to watching your future unfold and witnessing all the wonderful blessings that God is going to shower you with! Love you bunches!
XOXO,
Cricket 🙂
