When Zoe and I met for the first time to discuss all that she wanted for her Senior Pictures, the most important place she wanted to be for one of her full sessions was in the middle of a Sunflower Field! I was so excited because I have never even seen, besides in pictures, a huge field of sunflowers! We set the date for our session to be in the prime of bloom season!
When the date arrived, Zoe got her hair and makeup done by Eve Eidson, stopped into the market for some snacks for the road, and we all headed off together to have the best time in the middle of these flowers! We arrived an hour later to our destination…we didn’t see the sunflowers. We found someone that worked at the location to make sure we were at the right place and she says, “Oh, we didn’t plant the sunflowers this year.” Whaaaaat? You have got to be kidding me? What did I learn from this venture you might ask…. CALL NEXT TIME!
After we absorbed the reality of what had happened, we made the best of the location. It was so beautiful, even without the Sunflower Field. The trees were huge and the day was just BEAUTIFUL!
When we left the “No Sunflower” location, we headed to a nearby location that we were told had beautiful waterfalls, fountains, and flowers. We arrived to find that the waterfalls and fountains were not working, and didn’t see any flowers. But guess what! Look at the BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS that we got out of our second disappointing location!
We may not have found lots of summer flowers, but look what we did find… WISTERIA! 🙂
Although our day did not go as we had anticipated, I believe it was more fun than we could have ever anticipated! We laughed so much and I literally had one of the most memorable and fun sessions to date!
This is what Zoe Anderson says about her experience as a Class of 2019, Station Camp High School, Cricket’s Photography Spokesmodel…
“I was one of Cricket’s Senior Spokesmodels for the Class of 2019, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Not only is Mrs. Cricket one of the best photographers, she makes sure you are getting what you want and what you pay for. It taught me to get out of my comfort zone and just have fun while getting my picture taken. We definitely made some long lasting memories during my Senior Shoot! I love you and thank you so much for everything!”
You are a blessing to me Zoe! Can’t wait for your Spring Session coming soon! We’re coming for you again FLOWERS!
