A
few years ago, while Mikayla and Ben were in High School, they had their prom pictures taken at the beautiful Spring Haven Mansion in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Therefore, when Ben was trying to think of a special place to propose to Mikayla, Spring Haven Mansion was the perfect place! Ben wanted the proposal to be a private moment with just the two of them, as they had family and friends waiting to celebrate with them afterwards.
Mikayla was home from college for Christmas break, but she thought that Ben was still at school. He thought maybe she was a little salty about him not coming home yet, but I assured him that she would forget about it as soon as she sees him on his knee!
The owner and planner of the Spring Haven Mansion, Tammie Sutherland, was so helpful as we planned Mikayla’s arrival and where Ben would propose. Ben chose the arched, white bridge over the calming, rippling creek. The view was so beautiful, just as beautiful as their proposal. SHE SAID YES!
Mikayla and Ben, thank you so much for asking me to capture such a magical memory for you! I can’t wait to come see ya’ll in Memphis this spring for your “official” Engagement Session! And, of course, your November Wedding will be here before we know it! Love ya’ll bunches!
Hugs!
